By downloading, installing, or using the ZemZem application, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication. Your continued use of the application after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Service description

ZemZem is a dating application designed for single Muslims seeking a serious relationship leading to marriage. Our service allows users to:

  • Create a personal profile
  • Search and discover other profiles
  • Express interest in other users
  • Communicate with their matches via messaging

3. Eligibility

To use ZemZem, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally authorized to enter into a contract
  • Not be prohibited from using our service by a court order
  • Not have had an account previously deleted for violating our terms
  • Be single or legally eligible to marry

4. Registration and account

4.1 Account creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. The use of false information may result in the suspension or deletion of your account.

4.2 Account security

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 One account only

Each user may only hold one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.

5. Rules of conduct

By using ZemZem, you agree to:

  • Treat all users with respect and dignity
  • Use the service with the serious intent of seeking marriage
  • Provide truthful information on your profile
  • Use recent and authentic photos of yourself

5.2 Prohibited behavior

  • Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users
  • Posting offensive, inappropriate, obscene, or illegal content
  • Impersonating another person
  • Using the service for commercial purposes or spam
  • Soliciting money from other users
  • Sharing personal information of other users without their consent
  • Attempting to bypass the application's security measures
  • Using bots or automated scripts
  • Posting photos of third parties without their permission
  • Promoting illegal activities

6. User content

6.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you post (photos, text, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it to other users as part of the service.

6.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to this content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

6.3 Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, without prior notice or justification.

7. Subscriptions and payments

7.1 Free plan

ZemZem offers a free version with basic features.

7.2 Premium subscription

Additional features are available through a paid subscription. Prices and features are displayed in the application.

7.3 Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current period. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

7.4 Refunds

Refunds are subject to the policies of the payment platform used (Google Play, App Store). Contact us for any specific request.

8. Reporting and blocking

If you encounter inappropriate behavior, you can:

  • Block a user: This user will no longer be able to contact you or see your profile.
  • Report a user: Our team will review the report and take appropriate action.

Repeated false reports may result in sanctions on your own account.

9. Suspension and termination

9.1 By ZemZem

We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account, without prior notice, in case of violation of these terms or behavior harmful to the community.

9.2 By the user

You can delete your account at any time from the application settings. Deletion is permanent and results in the erasure of all your data.

10. Liability limitation

ZemZem is a matchmaking service. We are not responsible for:

  • The behavior of users on or off the platform
  • The accuracy of information provided by users
  • Meetings or relationships that may result from using the service
  • Indirect losses or damages related to the use of the service

We encourage you to exercise caution and verify the identity of individuals before meeting them in person.

11. Intellectual property

The ZemZem application, its design, code, logos, and content (excluding user content) are the exclusive property of ZemZem. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is prohibited.

12. Safety tips

For your safety, we recommend:

  • Never sharing financial information or passwords
  • Reporting any suspicious behavior
  • Meeting people in public places
  • Informing a friend or family member about your meetings
  • Taking your time before meeting someone in person

13. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to mandatory legal provisions regarding consumer protection.
